New terminal in Pyungtaek open for busines
A new terminal in Pyungtaek port has been officially opened in Korea. The construction of the second terminal will be completed in fourth quarter of 2010.
Together with Wallenius Wilhelmsen Logistics (WWL), EUKOR jointly operates the terminals through the joint operating company Pyungtaek International Ro-Ro Terminal (PIRT) and has invested a total of USD 120 million in the development.
Pyungtaek port is besides Ulsan the main loading port for EUKOR in Korea and is strategically located close to three of Hyundai Motor Company and Kia Motors production plants.
