New services at the Bremerhaven car terminal
With its own Ro/Ro ships MAXIMAHAVEN and JULIANAHAVEN, as well as additional charter tonnage, the shipping company Van Uden recently relocated a Ro/Ro service from Hamburg to Bremerhaven. It regularly connects Bremerhaven to Mediterranean ports. The schedule includes Piraeus, Limassol, Beirut, Tripoli, Tyr, Lattakia, Mersin, Alexandria, Misurata, Tobruk, Bengasi and Algiers. In Europe, Antwerp and Immingham, along with Bremerhaven, are also serviced.
The shipping company “K” Line has also recently started offering additional capacities for the Mediterranean, US east coast and Mexico regions every 14 days. The vehicle carriers OREGON HIGHWAY, SHANGHAI HIGHWAY, GEORGIA HIGHWAY and MICHIGAN HIGHWAY are used. In Northern Europe, only Southampton and Zeebrügge were previously called at as part of the TAL service. The “K” Line North Atlantic shuttle service continues unchanged for Bremerhaven, with weekly departures to Baltimore, Charleston and Jacksonville.
