Mitsubishi Europe has recently contracted BLG’s vehicle transportation division to distribute all vehicles from its Dutch production plant in Born to the German dealers’ network. The annual volume for this is approximately 15,000 vehicles, which are distributed by truck to all Mitsubishi dealers in Germany, and shipped for the Norwegian market via the BLG AutoTerminal in Bremerhaven. The contract will initially run until 2012.

Mitsubishi manufactures the tyre types COLT and OUTLANDER in Born. BLG was previously only responsible for distribution within Northern Germany. The expansion of the transport contract will see a doubling of the transportation volume at BLG’s vehicle transportation division for the client Mitsubishi.
