Logwin Awarded Major Logistics Contract with SCI

Logwin has secured a major contract with automotive import agent Shanghai China-Industrial Import and Export Trading Co., Ltd..(SCI) based in Shanghai.

Under the terms of the contract, valid for two years, Logwin will be responsible for managing all aspects of in-bound shipments for SCI, including the transportation of automotive components primarily from Germany to local destinations in Dalian and Shanghai in China.

SCI, one of the influential automotive trading enterprises in China, provides comprehensive services for many worldwide automakers and their affiliates in China. Being a major import agent who takes charge of all the supply chain, SCI specializes in offering European automobile and parts manufacturers a proven system for importation of goods into China with services ranging from licence applications and customs clearance, to local distribution and delivery.

The agreement will see Logwin support the import activities of SCI by ensuring that the company’s imported car components are transported in a safe and efficient manner to its customer sites across China.

Mr. James Kilpatrick, Managing Director Far East in the Logwin business segment Air + Ocean, states that the agreement will also reinforce Logwin’s position as one of the leading players in the automotive market both in Europe and Asia.
