Less environmental damage thanks to LPG
Since last February, two Koopman car carriers are partly powered by LPG, thanks to an LPG injection system. As soon as the truck has reached the desired speed, and full engine power is no longer necessary, the LPG injection starts to work. By mixing diesel with LPG, diesel use decreases, resulting in less environmental damage. In total, about thirty trucks in the Netherlands and some 120 in Germany are equipped with the system.
