Dr. Michael Kluger New Member of the Management Board at Schenker Deutschla
As of 1 April, Dr.-Ing. Michael A. Kluger has been appointed Member of the Board for Contract Logistics at Schenker Deutschland AG.
Born in 1966, Kluger obtained a Master of Science degree in Industrial Engineering at Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, USA, and studied Mechanical Engineering with a focus on materials flow and warehouse technology in Dortmund, Germany. On graduating, he worked in materials flow and warehouse technology for the Fraunhofer Institute in Dortmund. His career included stages as Manager International Logistics in the USA and as Director Logistics Engineering Europe for an automotive manufacturer in Germany. In his last position, he worked as Group Director Business Development for a German contract logistics service provider.

The position of Member of the Board for Contract Logistics at Schenker Deutschland AG had been vacant since the end of 2007.
