BLG automobile logistics successfully certified

The entire AUTOMOBILE division of the BLG LOGISTICS GROUP was re-certified according to schedule in February after its three year term expired. The DIN EN ISO 9001:2008 concerns the quality of the services. The DIN EN ISO 14001:2004 is the standard for conservation.

BLG AUTOMOBILE was once again re-certified by the certification company LRQA according to the latest standards for stringent service processes and continual improvements, strict customer orientation and permanent environment protection in the entire AUTOMOBILE division.

The central functions at BLG’s headquarters in Bremen and the operative company units were successfully assessed as part of the re-certification. The operative units include seaport and inland terminals, technical centres, transport by rail, road and water, as well as the shipping services.

The volume of the AUTOMOBILE division last year totalled 5.7 million vehicles. Bremerhaven is the largest location in the network, with an annual turnover of 2.03 million units at the car terminal and some 500,000 technically processed vehicles.
