autoMOTIVE Logistics Leaders & University of Buckingham Forum; 25th March 2010

autoMOTIVE Logistics Leaders and the University of Buckingham are launching a series of forums to provide executives within the automotive logistics sector with an opportunity to discuss and debate current issues of concern to the industry.

The topic of the first forum is;
   Strategic Implications of the Migrating Automotive Industries

We will examine historic and anticipated changes in the ownership and location of elements of the automotive industries – and their implications for logistics both for components and for finished vehicles.

Attendee numbers are limited to ensure that everybody has the opportunity to participate in the debate.The event will take place at the University of Buckingham’s Chandos Road facility – MK18 1AL.

The objectives of the planned forums might be broadly summarised as follows:

  • To provide the opportunity for executives and industry leaders to meet to discuss issues of significance to the industry.
  • To receive the latest reports on logistics industry-oriented research, with part of that research seeking to set the industry in a wider context.
  • To deliver the research and debates under totally independent but informed leadership and to offer the opportunity for regular networking.

The forums are emphatically not conferences. We seek to give members the opportunity to express their views and debate them rather than packing the agenda with a collection of speakers, many of whom consciously or subconsciously are selling their products or services.

The cost for the event is £85.00 per participant if booked electronically. If, however, you require an invoice, please contact kim.pittwood@buckingham.ac.uk and she will arrange it. However, the charge for invoicing is  £95.00 to cover the administrative costs.

We look forward to welcoming you.
